Tasting Notes

Staff Tasting Notes
Nose: It starts with deep flavours of shoe leather followed by sweet peaches, apricots and nectarines. Yellow jelly beans jump in and a touch of sherry comes through after some time.
Palate: It's gentle but quite rich. Lots of soft fruits and dried pears. Nice texture on the palate.
Finish: Warming, pleasant traces of the cask influence. Soft with bitter chocolate notes.
Comments: Well balanced, easy drinking reintroduction to this rarely seen distillery.

Nose: Rich warm aromas of apple, toffee and honey with sweet marzipan and subtle tangy marmalade notes on the nose.
Palate: The palate is fresh and mellow with pear, peach and pineapple flavours with a hint of Demerara sugar.
