Tamnavulin distillery was built by Invergordon Distillers during the early 1960s whisky boom. Its six stills and short-lived Saladin maltings were intended to supply spirit for blended whisky, which is to this day where most of the spirit produced ends up. The distillery was bought by Whyte & Mackay in 1993, mothballed in 1995, then reopened in 2007.

The label is in good condition, though the box has some marks and general wear. The fill level is good.
