This 6 year old Smögen is bottled at 100 proof and matured in sherry quarter casks, pairing the distillery’s powerful peated style with concentrated sherry influence. The smaller cask format helps drive plenty of intensity into the whisky, building a bold profile shaped by smoke, dark fruit and a distinctly maritime edge.

There is a richness to the dram that feels well beyond its years, with notes of dried fruits, hedgerow berries and honeyed sweetness set against earthy peat and a gentle coastal salinity. The higher strength brings extra texture and weight, while the sherry casks add depth without overwhelming Smögen’s muscular house character.
