New but Storied
Spey is one of the Speyside Distillery’s marquee malts. This brand was introduced in the 90s, and celebrates the distillers' near 7 decades heritage.
The original owners were from a family that was making whisky in the 1770s.
So while Spey is a newcomer, relative to other whiskies, it has a storied history, which like many was disrupted by prohibition.
When it was relaunched, it was originally made in Taiwan, but Spey has now come home to its namesake and has established itself as an exceptional single malt.
Having won several awards from the International Spirits Challenge, the Scottish Whisky Masters, and the World Whiskies Award.
Buy Spey Whisky Online
You can shop through our range for some of the Spey hallmarks, like the Chairman’s Choice, an aptly named bottling of several Spey Single Malts. It has a rich colour and a varied body with many fruit-filled notes. The official notes describe it as "a very approachable and satisfying malt whisky with bags of character.
Another popular whisky is the award-winning Spey Trutina bottle that really captures the essence of the distiller and its lineage, with, again, a fruity and full body.
