This is Scotland’s oldest distillery and possibly even the world’s. The site may have been used for distillation as far as the early 1300s, and the distillery was founded in 1772.
Although Littlemill’s whiskies are incredibly rare due to the distillery’s closure in 1992, we are fortunate to see these bottles pass through our shelves.

The Littlemill Distillery - A Staple in Whisky History
The Littlemill Distillery holds a special place in Scotland’s whisky history. Officially licensed in the 1820s, it changed hands numerous times, with notable moments including its ownership by Jane McGregor, one of the earliest female distillers.
The distillery’s production unfortunately ceased, and a devastating fire in 2004 led to its eventual demolition. Today, rare bottles of Littlemill are prized for their notable history.
