Established by the Wemyss family in 2014 near St Andrews, Kingsbarns honours the traditional Lowland style by crafting an elegant, soft and fruity spirit which is predominantly matured in American oak. The distillery building has been converted from a semi-derelict farmhouse into an impressive modern distillery and visitor centre, at the heart of the distillery is an old 'doocot' (also known as dovecot) which is subtly incorporated into the Kingsbarns bottle. The inaugural bottling was released in 2018 with a larger release following in 2019.

Kingsbarns 7 Year Old bourbon Barrel – Distilled in 2015, this whisky has some fabulous flavour, with notes of barley sugar, spice, and puff pastry.
Kingsbarns 4 Year Old Sherry Butt – Sherry butt matured with some dark fruit and spice notes which adds to the signature lowland style.
