Tasting Notes

Port Dundas 27 Year Old Sovereign
Nose: Bourbon notes, fresh wood and old sawdust. Damp play dough.
Palate: Molasses, sweet honey. A hefty weight.
Finish: Lovely creaminess which develops into toffee sauce.

This golden whisky has a nose of brown sugar, cherries and apple. The palate is warm and subtle with ripe fruits, caramel and a hint of pepper. The finish is long, with lingering fruit.
