The James Eadie bottlings have very much shown us some great whisky so far and this one is no exception. If you've never tried a younger Caol Ila before we would very much suggest you do! Fresh, saline and reminiscent of smoky bacon crisps.

Official Tasting Notes

Nose: Kippers from across the street. The peat reek, while powerful, is soft and oily, while a pronounced herbal quality lingers in the background. With water, notes of freshly squeezed lemon juice and apple peel emerge.
Palate: A richer flavour than the nose suggests. Peat, gentle wood smoke, smoked cheese, pepper and brine all come together on the shores of Islay.
Finish: Round, warm and lingering.
