This single cask Bladnoch bottled by Gordon and MacPhail fortuitously coincides with part of the distillery's history. This whisky was distilled in 1988, when the distillery's first visitor centre was opened, and was matured for 30 years in a refill American oak hogshead, it was bottled in April 2019 just before new owner, David Prior, opened a brand new visitor centre in July after restarting production at the distillery four years prior.

A single refill American hogshead, bottled at cask strength and limited to only 155 bottles.

Official Tasting Notes

Sweet crisp red apples with a nutty edge. Hints of toasted malt complement orange blossom and stewed rhubarb. Sweet chilli spice lingers on the finish.
