The refill maturation allows the distillery’s signature character to shine through, with delicate notes of cooked orchard fruits layered over a subtle backdrop of medicinal smoke and wet embers. Hints of herbal spice and sweet cakey richness add further depth, while the syrupy texture coats the palate, making for a wonderfully complex and satisfying dram.
