About Tormore Whisky
Situated south of the River Spey, Tormore distillery captures the true essence of Speyside whisky. Built in the early 1960s, Tormore is renowned for its striking architecture and picturesque surroundings, inspiring a village of worker houses in the same style.
Over the years, Tormore has seen several ownership changes, starting with Long John, followed by Whitbread & Co., Allied Domecq, Pernod Ricard, and most recently, Elixir Distillers in 2022. Despite these changes, Tormore has consistently produced top-quality whisky, thanks to its dedicated team and prime location.
