The first legal distillery on the Isle of Raasay started distilling in 2017, with an eye to produce some amazing Hebridean single malt whiskies and gin. After renovating the landmark building they had chosen for the distillery, they've also started farming the island's first barley crop in over a generation, which is used in the spirit.

Raasay Single Malt – Lightly peated, dark fruits, an excellent single malt whisky that has been aged in ex-Rye whiskey, new Chinkapin oak, and first fill Bordeaux red wine casks.
Raasay Single Malt Cask Strength – The core whisky, but stronger. This iteration of the single malt is 61.3% ABV.

It makes use of juniper, rhubarb root, orange peel and Raasay's own triple distilled spirit.
