A key large scale distillery for Pernod Ricard, Allt-a-Bhainne stands out amongst the older more traditional built Speysiders with its modern aesthetic. Since its establishment in 1975, it has become a key staple of the Pernod Ricard portfolio and is reserved for its blended brands like Chivas and Ballantine's. It experienced a brief period of closure in the early 21st Century but has since been fully utilised and remains a key supplier to Pernod's blends.
In 2018, the first official bottling was released which highlighted peated spirit made at the distillery.
