The Mackmyra Moments range has produced many very interesting whiskies so far and we're always delighted to give them a try. Their latest, the Korsbar, has been matured in a mixture of casks including some which once matured cherry wine. This has imparted a distinctive pink hue into the whisky.

Official Tasting Notes

Nose: Fruity and spicy with sweet cherry, Oloroso Sherry, warm pear fudge, vanilla and toasted oak.
Palate: Round notes of oak. Spiciness and prominent notes of cherry together with Oloroso Sherry, ginger, herbal spiciness and vanilla. The texture is smooth and medium thick.
Finish: Long, fruity and spicy aftertaste with cherry, Oloroso Sherry and toasted oak.
