The final bottling of legendary closed distillery Caroni by Italian bottlers Velier. Luca Gargano acquired a large amount of ageing stock from the distillery warehouse in December 2004 and has been slowly releasing them ever since. This, the 39th release, is a blend of 24 barrels, all distilled in 1996 and designated 'heavy' rum. The barrels were matured in Trinidad until 2008 and then at Diamond Distillers Ltd in Guyana until 2019 totally an impressive 23 years tropical ageing. A limited edition of 5,522 bottles, this is special chance to acquire the final bottling of this iconic series.
