Having founded the Somerset Cider Brandy distillery on his farm back in the late Eighties, Julian Temperley is now a legend in craft distilling. In a time when craft distilling was virtually unheard of and others were ripping up their cider apple orchards, he was building a business which would become beloved for the quality of its cider, spirits, and liqueurs. Three decades later, his daughter Matilda has taken the lead in the distillery, and her creativity is already being seen in some interesting products, created through innovative use of casks.
