World Whiskies

Scotland, Ireland and America may be the most known whisk(e)y making countries in the world but whisky has been made all over the globe for a long time.

Japan and Canada both have proud distilling histories with many award winning whiskies coming from their shores. In the past few years whiskies from Australia, Taiwan and India have also scored acclaim from some of the world's top whisky critics.

Each whisky producing nation has their own unique spin on what it is that makes great whisky. This might be the ingredients that they use, the processes employed in production or the way they decide to mature the spirit but where it is made has a huge impact on the final product.

With new nations making whisky everyday the world of whisky is an ever expanding category which is ripe with innovation and, also, tradition.
