Staff Tasting Notes
Nose: Immediately quite soft with some sweeter and pronounced characters- vanilla ice cream, salted caramel, toffee, butterscotch, raspberry sauce and milk chocolate. Then after a while, spicier elements reveal themselves with gingerbread, oily copper and black peppered walnuts. Quite a bit to get your nose around but it rewards the effort.
Palate: Wow, quite sweet at first- lots of milk chocolate and vanilla notes return on the palate but with a fudgey thick texture. Baked apples were found with some spicier cinnamon notes, After some time we discovered more salty/briny elements which merge quite nicely into the raspberry and caramel notes. Ice cream, vanilla and black pepper popcorn on the finish.
