Port Charlotte 2010 MRC Cask
When Bruichladdich Distillery was brought out of mothballs, it was Mark Reynier who led the charge and he came from a solid background of wine. Pretty soon, visitors to Islay started to see some pretty fancy names on the casks in the 'Laddie' warehouses and this bottling is one of the fruits of this investment in wood. They have taken a mix of ex bourbon casks and 2nd fill wine casks and married these together for a year long finish in French Oak casks from the left bank of the Bordeaux. We are guessing the acronym means 'Mouton Rothschild Cask', but we can only guess.
