Persie is the brainchild of Simon Fairclough, who distills his gins in the former Persie Hotel at the foot of Glenshee in Perthshire.
After touring the country with the Gin Club Scotland, Simon discovered that the highest scoring gins all showed "a perfect interplay of aroma and taste". Taking this information to heart, he made it the central focus of the Persie gin range.
Armed with the knowledge that 75% of taste is down to smell, Fairclough created Persie Gin which is designed to stimulate the olfactory senses. This enhanced aroma of the gins makes for a full flavoured spirit that shines through the wave of modern craft gins.
We really enjoy the aromatic sensation of these gins, and think that they're worth shouting about.
