Midleton Barry Crockett Single Pot Still Whiskey
Named after the second generation Master Distiller at Midleton, who spent 47 years working at the distillery, the Barry Crockett is made from pot-still whiskey which has been aged in ex bourbon casks, with a small proportion aged in new American oak, to provide a little more woody vanilla influence to the bottling.
Staff Tasting Notes
Nose: Very intense and fruity, with dried fruits, grapefruit and hints of coconut. Sweet bourbon vanilla coming through as well.
Palate: Rich and fruity again, an indicator of good age in that richness. A touch of woody notes mixed in.
