Staff Tasting Notes
Nose: Manuka honey, condensed milk, honey nut cereal, marshmallows and Mackie’s honeycomb ice cream. A flurry of dessert-like characters. Palate: Smooth, stewed orchard fruits and a hint of oak. Crème brûlée after some time in the glass, with more spices like nutmeg emerging further on. Finish: Seems short at first but then surges with spice and toffee. Comments: A satisfying finish to a delicate dram, an intriguing balance of wood influence and soft spirit style.
