DescriptionBerry Brother's & Rudd are the oldest wine and spirit merchant in the United Kingdom so, when they hand pick a Oloroso sherry cask from Bodegas Lustau to mature their Glenrothes single malt in, it is time to sit up and take notice. The whisky is first matured for 24 years in ex-bourbon barrels before being finished in an American oak cask from Jerez, Spain. It is limited to 648 bottles and has been bottled at natural cask strength.

Saff Tasting Notes
Nose: Initially, there is a gunpowder and truck match note, but this blows off quickly to be replaced by hazelnuts, figs, apricots and spice.
Palate: A lovely creamy texture, with fruit, molasses and abundant spice.
Official Tasting Notes
Nose: Citrus toffee, full and rich.
Palate: Creamy, full, lemon treacle.
Finish: Mid length inviting second sip.
