Staff Tasting Notes
Nose: A big, rich, sweet nose with a woody, savoury, balsamic vinegar intensity followed by raisins, stewed fruits, figs and mince pies!
Palate: With a very little bit of water the mouthfeel is soft and rounded, and the palate shows rich caramel, butterscotch and coco powder notes with a spectacular Cadbury’s fruit and nut milk chocolate finale, followed by a sweet rum & raisin lingering finish.
Overall: Exactly what you would expect from Glendronach; perfectly balanced, colourful giving whisky at a very good price.
