Fifty Pounds Gin

In the 18th century you couldn't turn a corner in London without tripping over a gin still and several inebriated consumers of said gin. The powers that be tried to stamp this out by forcing through the Gin Act in 1736 which would mean obtaining a licence to make it costing fifty pounds- a huge amount of money at the time. After 6 years only two distilleries had purchased a licence but their gin was a far better quality. Fifty Pounds gin is created to a secret recipe at Thames Distillers, but we know it is batch distilled in pot stills four times, and filtered three times. It's a versatile and high quality gin that works well for everyday drinks and cocktails.
