As fans of high quality spirit, we just can't fault this baby. A mix of spirits made at one fascinating distillery, which has in its arsenal an incredible, century-old wooden coffey still cue (nods of deep respect from spirits geeks). They make ethereal rum from column stills, unctuous pot still rums and everything in between which combine to make a rummy perfection. If you don't like this, you don't like rum. So there.

Official Tasting Notes
Rich amber in colour. Super attractive nose packed with aromas of sugar, honey, banana, toffee, raisin and sultanas. Ripe, rich and balanced flavours and sweetness. After the sweetness, the finish is delightful, elegant and dry. The Guyanan distillery this comes from has 9 different stills so they can make a bewildering number of different 'marques' from the same facility. El Dorado 12 Year Old contains predominantly copper coffey still rum from Diamond blended with the double wooden pot still at Port Mourant and marques from the wooden Coffey in Enmore.
