|Age||3 Year Old|
A final chapter in John Glaser's spat with the EU/SWA over whether he can mention the age of all the components in his blends? Not some, ALL. Anyway, in what is act of wit, passive aggression, sparkling imagination and brilliant marketing and salesmanship he presents a three year old at £182.95. It is made up of 'just under 1% three year-old malt whisky produced near the village of Brora, a little over 90% malt whisky of an unstated but considerably older age from the same distillery and 9% peaty malt whisky, distilled on the Isle of Skye'. It tastes fantasic, and somehow (we suspect magic) he has made this more Clynelishly than Clynelish by blending it with another malt. Bravo.
