Bladnoch 27 Year Old Talia

A limited release Talia of 27 years old to honour Bladnoch's bicentenary. All the whisky was initially matured in three different woods, ex-Bourbon, ex-Sherry and ex-Whisky before then all being finished in ex-Bourbon casks. Bottled without chill-filtration or colouring added. The name Talia refers to 'dew drop from heaven'.
Official tasting Notes:

Nose: Quite rich, waxy, malty, orange peel, honey with spicy toasted vanilla and grassy notes.

Palate: Soft, rich and tongue coating. Spicy heather honey, gingerbread, a hint of Seville orange, with slightly nutty and sweet vanilla oakiness.

Finish: Lovely balanced oak, lightly dry and spicy, gently warming and lingering.
