Ever the traditional innovators (we know this is contradictory, but its true) Gordon and Macphail have done great things with Benromach Distillery since they bought it. This is one such example, with spirit distilled three times in 2009 and matured in fresh bourbon casks. The distiller's tasting note is 'Distinctly delicate. Rich fruits, sweet & peppery, lingering smoky embers'. A release of approximately 8,000 bottles, they say.
