Ailsa Bay v1.2 Sweet Smoke

After the impressive first official bottling of Ailsa Bay (1.1), William Grants have launched a new edition with more peat and more sweetness than its predecessor- scientific readings of 22 parts peat and 19 parts sweet to be exact.

The spirit undergoes 'micro-maturation' in very small bourbon barrels previously used for Hudson whiskey before then being transferred into larger, standard barrels for further ageing. We are such a fan of the geekiness at Aisla Bay and believe that it shows in the final product!
